The CPRB is responsible for the following elements of the Coach and Player selection each season.
Coaching Selection Process: The CPRB is responsible for interviewing coaching candidates. The CPRB makes recommendation of coaching candidates to the MHYA Board of Directors who will then have the final decision on team coaches.
Player Evaluation Processes: The Player evaluation process for each season is developed by the CPRB and approved by the MYHA Board of Directors.
Traveling Teams: Players who are candidates for the traveling teams will be chosen through a player evaluation/tryout process that is coordinated by the CPRB.
In-House/Instructional Level: Players in the “In-House” C level and Instructional level programs will be evaluated to assist with CPRB will appropriate team assignments and skill level distribution.
Player Evaluators: The CPRB will coordinate the selection of tryout evaluators.
End of Season Survey and Coaching Evaluation: The CPRB conducts a membership and parent survey on the MYHA program and coaches at the conclusion of each season.
