Mahtomedi Youth Hockey

Skate 50 hours outside of mandatory games and practices and YOU ARE THERE! (Mini Mites will qualify for the Rink Rat award if they skate 30 hours above and beyond their scheduled practices.)

The Rink Rat time period begins November 1st and runs through the end of the MYHA hockey season in late February, early March.

This includes:

1. Open skating
2. Open hockey (The Roseville Oval and St. Croix Valley Recreation Center have this)
3. Anyone's back yard rink
4. Optional team practices
5. District Center Rinks/Birchwood - or any rink!

Each team manager or coach will have a rink rat log sheet that will be handed to each hockey player or it can be downloaded from the MYHA website. Every time a player skates outside of games + practices he or she can mark it down on the log along with a parent or guardian's initials for verification.

Way to Go! - You are an Official Mahtomedi Rink Rat

You will be given a Mahtomedi Rink Rat T-shirt at your team’s end of the year banquet.
